Chapter VI ~ Despair

Poor Clunk was labeled 'the despair-bear' his first day of kindergarten and he could never really shake it.

Hanging around and waiting for 'the end' became his hobby, and later his job.

"I'm just waiting for the end of this show" he would tell his mother while thinking 'what's the point of homework anyway ...'

Now he calls "end of day" at the exchange. It used to entail ringing a bell, but that seemed like a little too much work for the pay he was getting, so now he just blinks once and they all take off for the day.
